WUETCHER, Micki, 81, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014.
Born in Louisville, the former Mary Jane O’Rourke was a graduate of Presentation Academy and St. Joseph School of Nursing. She was an E.R. Nurse at St. Joseph’s Infirmary and an Industrial Nurse at G.E. She was also a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, loved to travel, and was an avid UofL fan.
Micki is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. William Wuetcher; children, Sue Wuetcher (Phil Fairbanks), Michael Wuetcher, Linda Gordon (Bill), Ken Wuetcher (Arica), and Kristin Wuetcher (Chris Colombo); brother, Terry O’Rourke (Bonnie); and grandchildren, Leah and Laura Fairbanks and Kelsey Gordon.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Thursday, August 21 at St. Louis Bertrand, 1104 S. 6th Street, with burial to follow at a later date. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
