STRAFACCI, NICHOLAS, 91, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Nick was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran, former owner of Brownsboro Center Barber Shop and a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
Nick was an avid supporter of University of Louisville Athletics, his charm and wit touched everyone he met.
Nick is survived by his wife of 67 years, Louise (Hoskinson) Strafacci; son, Barry Strafacci (Laura Steiermann); and brother, Mario Strafacci, Jr. (Virginia); brothers in law, Leon Hoskinson (Betty), Ronald Hoskinson (Florence) and beloved nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2011 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Highlands.
