My sincerest condolences on your loss. Your mom was definitely the surrogate mom to a young 14 year old swimmer from Illinois, and I will forever remember her warmth, generosity, and bright smile (probably holding in laughter at her awkward visitor). She also was the one who introduced me to your wonder dog Dutchess who was so enamored with me that she decided my head was her favorite place to sleep upon for the duration of my stays in Louisville.
