KIRCHNER, Olivia “Libby” I., 55, passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Miami, Fl, she worked for Jefferson Special as a security officer. Libby was a wonderful and eccentric woman who had a passion for creativity, writing short stories and poetry. She loved making jewelry and was an avid reader. Everyone who encountered her knew her to be generous and willing to help however she could. She was a selfless soul until the end. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Olive Silverman. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Victor Kirchner; daughters, Amber and Drew Kirchner; son, Joseph Weis; granddaughter, Erin Weis; sister, Linda Pettit (Jim); and beloved pet, Poppie.
Her memorial service will be at 8 p.m. Friday, November 11, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Memorial visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of service Friday at Highlands.
