LARKIN, Orthetta “Teddy”, 94, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Seneca Place.
Born in Louisville, the former Orthetta LaVerne Thompson was a bookkeeper at Buechel Auto Supply, and a member of the Model A Car Club, Kyana Car Club and Southeast Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband James E. Larkin; mother, Catherine Diehl Bisig and her husband, Edward Bisig; her father, Bernard Thompson; and brothers, Bernard and Harold Thompson.
Teddy is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Knapke (Michael); 2 grandchildren, Kimberly Barber (Phil) and Kristopher Knapke; and 4 great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Philip, and Kevin Barber, and Kaden Knapke.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, at Southeast Christian Church, with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
