ACKERSON, Patricia, 67, of Louisville, KY, passed away peacefully Sunday night at the Louisville Masonic Home with her sons and daughters-in-law by her side. Patricia’s passing was preceded by the passing of her father, John Ormerod, Sr., and her two sisters, Margaret Ann Ormerod and Joan Marie Ormerod. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Ormerod, her two sons, Brent Ackerson (Tammy) and Marc Ackerson (Adelaide), two grandchildren, Maxwell Ackerson and Sophia Ackerson, and two brothers, John “Jack” Ormerod, Jr., and Roy Ormerod (Connie).
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m, Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, at Highlands, followed by a private family graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery where she will be laid to rest near her grandparents, father, and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Kentucky Humane Society, 241 Steedly Drive, Louisville, Kentucky.
