BURCKHARDT, Patricia B., 84, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012.
Formerly Pat Burckholder, she was a 1946 graduate of Presentation Academy and a wonderful wife and homemaker. She volunteered at St. Anthony’s Hospital for many years and also volunteered in the P.T.A. Pat was a devoted wife of 61 years to her loving husband, Carl C. Burckhardt who predeceased her.
Also preceding her in death are her parents, Ed & Min Burckholder; a brother, Ed “Sonny” Burckholder; and first born child, Debbie Kress.
Pat is survived by her son, Robert E. Burckhardt (Wendy); 2 daughters, Amy B. Busch (Bud) and Lisa B. Bulmer (Donnie). She was also a proud grandmother of her surviving 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon on Wednesday, April 18 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m., Tuesday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.

Her family, whom loved her dearly, has no doubt Jesus has already warmly received her into the gates of heaven.
