KING, Paula Ann, 42, of Louisville, departed this life for a place without pain on Thursday, April 21, 2011, after a courageous battle against cancer. She was an assistant office manager for Louisville Neurosurgical Institute, a member of the Louisville BOP Dance Club and the Louisville Swing Club. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee M. King, grandparents, Robert M. and Angela J. King, Daisy S. Farmer and Howard W. Harmon. Surviving is her mother, Delores A. Gatton, step-father John M. Gatton; sister, Karen L. DeMarsh (Douglas); nephews, Lee David and Jonathan L. DeMarsh; step-brothers, Phillip J. Gatton (Puja), Vincent L. Gatton (Miller), John Matthew Gatton (Leah); step-sister, Barbara J. Gatton Bush (Warren). A service celebrating her life and legacy will be at 4 pm on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Donations in her memory may be made to the Hospice Inpatient Unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion.
