The ball of fire that she was

My most memorable event with Phyllis was at Kosiar and on night shift. She was the charge RN and had walked out to triage long enough to come running in the back with child in her arms that was dying. The entire way back saying we need a doctor and telling the crying scared parent behind her that we were going to help her baby, don't be afraid.

that is what i remember most about Phyllis. She was fast as lightening going from one thing to another but she was always kind to the parents and the kids and she recognized their fears.

Phyllis could start an IV on anyone and if she couldn't her back up was Vicky Jean.

she lived in fast mode . She flew thru that ER taking control. You never doubted her skills.

Phyllis was kind and loving.  She loved caring for her family and Richard.

I am sad she isn't here but no doubt she is an angel in heaven.

Love to her family, she loved all of you so much and would give her life for any of you.
