Obituary for Ralph Colburn
COLBURN,
Ralph, 96, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014.
Born in Butler County, KY, he was a Navy veteran of WWII and a retired production worker for Airco/Carbide.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine E. Colburn; son, James Edward Colburn (Dolores); grandchildren, Cindy Freudenberger, Kathy Tatom, Kim Colburn and Anita Thompson; great-grandchildren, Lacie Hicks, Rusty Tatom, Justin Colburn, and Joshua and Marjorie Thompson; and great-great-grandchild, Aubrie Ann Colburn.
His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 9 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with a private burial to follow.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Children’s Hospital.
