SCHEIBEL,
Ralph Allen, 92, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Episcopal Church Home.
Born in Greyhampton, KY, he was the owner and operator of Fashion Painters and a member of Local #118, a WWII Marine Veteran, member of American Legion Post #220, Masonic Lodge #830, Scottish Rite and Kosair Shrine. Ralph was also a member of Iroquois Presbyterian Church and a KY Colonel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Chester Scheibel and sister, Marcella Wilhelm.
He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Dorothy Scheibel; son, Gordon Wayne Scheibel (Stephanie); daughters, Bonnie Allen Heaton and Phyllis Lee Peklenk; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 4 at Iroquois Presbyterian Church, 970 Palatka Rd. with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. and from noon until time of service Wednesday at church.
