COOPER, REBECCA FRENCH, 87, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 at her residence. She was a retired executive secretary for the former Commonwealth Life Insurance Company and a devout Catholic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cooper; parents, Lawrence and Carrie French; sister, Juanita Mahoney; brother, Norman French; nephew, Larry French; and step-daughter, Joan Payton. Becky is survived by her nieces, Debbie Mahoney (Richard Alm) and Marcia Lambson (Preston); stepsons, Pat Cooper (Lylas) and Mark Cooper (Theresa); grandsons, Keith, Paul, Charles, John, and Mark; and sistersin- law, Betty Tichenor and Mary Agnes Cecil. Her visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Her funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Leonard Catholic Churh, 440 Zorn Ave., with burial to follow in St. James Catholic Church Cemetery in Elizabethtown, KY.
