Robert  L. "Bob"  Waldron
WALDRON,
Robert L. “Bob”, Jr, 79, returned to his Lord and Savior.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Janice Leffler; children, Scott (Shelva), Lee (Jennifer) and Chad Hodges (Rebecca); brother, Randall (Mary Lou); grandchildren, Andrew (Anna) and Bradly (Ashlee); several nieces and nephews and countless very good friends.
Bob served in the United States Marine Corps from 1953-1956, SEMPER FI (always faithful), retired from American Synthetic Rubber and was the current owner of Waldron and Associates, Inc and partner in Harrod & Waldron Insurance. He was a cancer survivor and a tireless warrior for the Lord and a member of Southeast Christian Church. Bob was a volunteer in Prison Ministries, Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief of KY, KY Changers, Samaritan’s Purse, William Carey Baptist Association Disaster Relief and several programs with Feed the City. He was a founding member of Pass It On Ministry, Inc., enjoyed golf, fishing, working in his yard and his little dog “Sis”. BA MAN
His funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 23 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at Highlands.
