JONES, Robert M. , 74, of Louisville, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015.

He was a native of Hiseville, KY, having proudly graduated with the Hiseville School Class of 1958. After retiring from LG&E, where he had worked over 25 years, he went on to co-own a farm equipment shop. He loved to spend time in the country as well as Ft. Myers, FL where he played golf and visited with good friends at the Century 21 Mobile Home Park. He enjoyed researching his family ancestry and helping others do the same. He was a member of Buechel Park Baptist Church and a member of The Mended Hearts.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Grace Jones; brother, Glenn Jones; and sister, Ruth Helen Ward.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia (Kiesler) Jones; brother, William Jones (Diana); niece, Melanie Ward; and nephews, Jeff, Doug, Chad, Josh, and Adam Jones.

His service will be 11am Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Hiseville Cemetery, Hiseville, KY. Visitation will be 2-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
