McGRATH, ROBERT EUGENE, 68, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East.
He was a retired carrier for the USPS, member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, U.S. Air force veteran, volunteer for St. Matthews Fire Department, a KY Colonel, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary McGrath.
He is survived by his son, Pat McGrath (Vicky), Bowling Green, KY; daughter, Julie Walling (Michael); brothers, Tony McGrath (Treva), Jerry McGrath (Betty), and Jim McGrath (Jolee); sisters, Mary Thornsberry (Jerry) and Susan Weiter (Rick); and three grandchildren, Maggie, Owen, and Samuel McGrath.
His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 531 East Liberty St. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bowling Green on Saturday, July 7 at 11:30 a.m. CST. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
