HOPE, RODNEY D., 60, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 at University of Louisville Hospital.
Rock and roll, love of life, and Phaedra.
Born in Co. Armagh, N. Ireland, he traveled to California (70's) before relocating to Louisville ('89) and was the owner and operator of East End Painting.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Gertrude Hope; and brother, Michael Hope.
He is survived by his former wife of 20 years and close friend, Patti Hope; daughter, Phaedra Hope; brother, Trevor Hope (Carol); sister-in-law, Allison Hope; niece, Melanie Fox (Chris); nephew, Aaron Hope; great-niece and nephew, Lily and Harry; and a legion of friends all over the world.
His funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with an Irish wake to follow. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands.
