Obituary for Ronald Tucker

TUCKER, Ronald N., 62, of Taylorsville, passed away on Friday, June 7th, 2013 after a long battle with cancer.
Ron was a person of character and sharp wit. He loved his family & friends, and shared many, many special times with them. He had a passion for competitive showing of purebred dogs. He was a member of the Louisville Kennel Club and Clumber Spaniels of America. He and his wife, Bev, operated the ‘Waggin’ Tail Kennels, Inc. on Lexington Rd.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Tucker.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Hall) Tucker; a son, Justin Tucker (Melissa); father, S.G. Tucker; brother, Greg; loving sister, Beckie Snyder (Bruce); nephews, Jeremy, Josh and Tucker; and the joy of his life, grandson, Nathaniel.
We would like to mention a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Norton’s Brownsboro. Ron felt at peace when he was there for treatment. Also, many thanks to all our friends, neighbors, and devoted employees who helped care for Ron during his illness; your efforts were endless!
Ron’s memorial visitation will be on Sunday, June 16th, from 1-3 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 3:00 p.m., all taking place at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Cremation was chosen.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus, or to www.k-9careofmontana.org; an organization assisting autistic children through the use of canines.
