HILL, ROSE MARIE, 82, of Louisville, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, at her residence.
Born in Crafton, PA, she was the former Rose Marie McEvilly and a retired school bus driver for JCPS, after 18 years of service.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Van Edward Hill; parents, Joseph McEvilly and Catherine Hickey; and sisters, Aileen Hayden and Mary Jane Yockey.
She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Elble (Daniel), Karen Staab (Richard) and Vanessa May (Michael); grandchildren, Kristen Gibbs (Paul), Ryan Elble (Jessica), Ben Elble, Nathan Staab (Holly), Emily Shields (Brandon), Jacob Staab, and Alex May; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands.
