GRIEB, Sherril L., 87, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Baptist Health.
Born in Louisville, he was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and a Transportation Supervisor at GE for 34 years. Sherril was deeply devoted to family. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father. He was a good friend to many. He possessed a quiet faith and was a strong supporter of the church. Sherril was an avid walker and enjoyed the company of his friends at Seneca Park. He was a proud alumnus of duPont Manual High School.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Grieb; children, Thomas Grieb (Cheryl), Ellen Grieb and Mark Grieb; brother, CJ Grieb (Nell); 2 grandchildren, Brian Grieb (Cassie) and John Grieb (Lauren); and 2 great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Henry.
Sherril’s funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with private burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Friday at Highlands.
