MEIMAN,
Shirley Mae, 87, of Louisville, went home to Heaven on Sunday, June 1, 2014.
Born in Shepherdsville, she was the former Shirley Mae Lane, a member of St. James Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Vincent Meiman, passed August 26, 2010; first husband, Edward Ressler, Jr., passed April 9, 1950; parents, John and Edna Lane; brother, George Lane and sister, Norma Hamilton.
She is survived by her sons, Dominic A. Meiman (partner Mark Nadler), Edward J. Ressler, III (Hannah), Michael L. Ressler (Tami), Stephan P. Meiman (Rhonda) and Jeffrey L. Meiman (Kristen); daughters, Jennifer M. Pedigo (Doug) and Julie A. Meiman; brother, C.L. Lane (Betty); sister, Genny Amerine; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1520 Hepburn Avenue, with burial to follow in Cedar Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Shepherdsville, KY. Visitation will be from 1-8 pm on Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
