KALBFLEISCH, Sonya Williams, 71, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, July 21 at Baptist Hospital East.
Born in Louisville, she recently retired from Louisville Cardiology. Sonya also worked for Falls City Flying Service, First National Bank of Murphysboro, IL, United Computer Service of Marion, IL, and Buchanan, Allen & Lee, PSC, of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William J., and Lois Lammlein; and her son Joseph Lee Williams.
Sonya is survived by her husband, Carl Robert “Bob” Kalbfleisch; daughters, Merle Williams Taylor (Virgil), of Ava, IL, Ronda Williams McGill (Chris), of Louisville; son Craig Robert Kalbfleisch (Pam) of Louisville; brother William J. Lammlein III (Dottie) of La Grange; sister Bonnie Lammlein Williams (Tom) of Nashville; grandchildren Aaron Taylor, Madison Taylor, Heather Williams and Alicia Kalbfleisch; and great-grandchildren, Damaira and Evelyn.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, Bardstown Rd., at Lancashire Ave., with burial immediately following at Resthaven cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-2 and also 4-7 on Sunday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
