Duerr, Theodore J. “Ted”, Jr., 83, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011.
He was a U.S. Army and Coast Guard Veteran, Vise President of Purchasing at Kitchen Compact, a member of Knights of Columbus, Big Spring Country Club, Falls Cities Purdue Club, and St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church.
Ted was preceded in death by his son, John Harper Duerr.
He is survived by his wife, Lola “Margaret” Harper Duerr, daughters, Sandra Lee Wettig (Keith), Sharon Rhea Erny (Beanie) and “Angela” Mari Montgomery (Chris); sisters, Anna Lee Gahm (Dwight) and Barbara Ann Trompeter (Bert); 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
His Funeral Mass will be at Noon Monday, August 1, 2011 at St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church, 2119 Payne St. with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 7:00 pm Sunday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
