Barry, Thomas Carter, 86, of Louisville, died peacefully on Monday, July 05, 2010 with family at his side. Tom was a 1942 graduate of St. Xavier High School and a U.S. Army WWII Veteran. He attended Xavier University and graduated from the University of Louisville. He was a founding member and parishioner of St. Pius X Catholic Church for 54 years and retired from sales with Brown & Co. of Cincinnati, OH. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Adele Clem Barry; children, Peggy Richardson (Drew), Tom Barry, Jr. (Janice), Sue Smith (Kevin), Ceal Barry, Bob Barry (Trish), Dan Barry (Yvonne), Tim Barry (Connie) and Bill Barry; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Ann Talbott of Chattanooga, TN. and Dots Krusenklaus of Olathe, KS. His Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 09, 2010 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 3042 Hikes Lane with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 -8:00 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
