CARMAN, Tony Carrol “Coach”, 72, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Thursday, May 24, 2012.
He will be remembered by his family and by all who know him for his love, his Christian values, moral character and integrity, and particularly for his ever-generous and always present sense of humor. He loved his career as a teacher and coach, and many of his students looked to him as a father figure-a role he cherished.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, the former Mary Troutman; daughter, Victoria (Richard Chamberlain); son, Mark Carman (Lucritia); sisters, Jeanette Wilson and Becky Thomas; brother, Donald Carman; five grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
A celebration of his life will be held on 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 3 at Highlands Family Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Parkinson’s research.
