PASSAFIUME, Vaughn J., 90, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Nazareth Home. He was married for 71 years to the love of his life, the late Annie Frances Sheilley. He was a retired car salesman at Bob Hook Chevrolet car dealership. He was also a WWII Army veteran. Vaughn was a graduate of St. Xavier High School. Vaughn is survived by his children, Jerry Passafiume (Maggi), Clara Furlong (Tommy), Tina Ray and Nancy Passafiume (David Vierling); sister, Mary Agnes Passafiume; brother-in-law, Cleveland Sheilley; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Passafiume and Josephine Hellinger; son-in-law, Paul Mueller; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. His funeral service Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 747 Harrison Avenue with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday, at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
