Obituary for Virginia Metz
METZ, Virginia, 84, of Louisville, passed away Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Jefferson Manor.
She was the former Virginia Noe, head stenographer of the former Enro Shirt Company, and member and past president of The Women’s Guild Christ Evangelical United Church.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Carl Metz; daughters, Rebecca Winters (Kevin) and Patricia Snyder (Jon); 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11 at Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Road. Visitation will be at the church, from 10:00 until time of the service. Burial will take place immediately following in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
