RALSTON, William Clarke II, DMD, 65, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011.
He was born and raised in Owensboro, KY, and attended the University of Louisville for both undergraduate and Dental school. Bill practiced dentistry in Louisville for over 25 years and also taught at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He was a member of the Air Force and was proud to be the head football coach at St. Margaret Mary for over 10 years.
Bill lived a full and happy life. He was an avid fan of UofL athletics and his passions in life were his family, friends, coaching, teaching, and practicing dentistry.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jackie Ralston; three sons, Bill (Kathy), Jon (Mariela), Jeff (Amy); and two grandchildren, Meg and Zach.
His funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Burial will be private. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 3-8 and Thursday, from 10 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes expressions of sympathy to be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
