89,of Louisville, KY., formerly of Bloomington, IN. passed away on March 28, 2015.
Betty worked as an administrative assistant for the Studebaker Corporation in South Bend, IN.; raised a family; then later worked as an administrative assistant for the Indiana University School of Business. She was a longtime member of the woman's alliance at the Unitarian Universalist church of Bloomington and the Monroe County YMCA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Showalter; and sister, Edith.
She is survived by her son, Kurt Showalter(Loretta); daughter, Pam Johnson(Doug) and grandchildren, Britney and Chad Showalter and Eric and Mitchell Johnson.
Service is private. Arrangements: Highlands Funeral Home.
