DOZIER,
Joseph, Jr., 90, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015.
Born, Cedar Grove, Estill County, KY, he was a retired plant manager for American Synthetic Rubber Corporation, member of Christ Church Cathedral and a Navy WWII veteran. He was a mason of O.D. Henderson Lodge and took yearly Volkswagen trips to Alaska.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ollie Dozier.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, the former Virginia Canine; his sons, Alan Dozier and Barry Dozier (Pamela); and daughter, Audrey Schmidt (Patrick).
His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, October 2 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 30 at Highlands.
