SHELTON, Chase Anthony, 33, of Louisville, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016.
He was a born in Harriman, TN, served in the Navy and worked as a maintenance mechanic for Mesa Foods. He was a self-taught guitarist. There was nothing he couldn’t play. He was also a beautiful singer.
Chase was a beautiful soul, loving and kind. He was funny and free spirited. He loved his music, his family, and his friends. Chase never met a stranger and gave the best hugs. He was warm and had an infectious smile and laugh. He loved with all his heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Darrell Shelton.
Chase is survived by his soulmate, Carole Puryear and their daughter, Reagan Smith; his mother, Reba Allen (Charles); sister, Nina Shelton (Anthony); brothers, Tre Allen, Jason Whalen (Jennifer), and Tee Harris (Leanne); step-mother, Laurene Shelton; grandmother, Virginia Jo Phillips; grandfather, James Shelton (Patsy); seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday 11-8pm and Wednesday 10am-1pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. His funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
