I was working at Golds Gum during this time maybe 2005-2007ish and a buddy of mine picked me up and we headed over to his friends apartment, it was winter and cold outside. I walk into his friends apartment and who do I see playing Rockband and singing, Chase! I had no idea he was there or that my buddy knew him. We hugged and laughed about it, Chase had a infectious laugh, you could tell it came from the soul and was always special. We set and talked and then Chase being the multitalented person he always was sits at the drums (Rockband is a video game that came with a guitar, microphone and drums in case you have no clue of what I'm talking about lol) So Chase sits at the drums and puts the difficulty level on expert, grabs the drumsticks and then takes the microphone and shoves it between his face and shoulder 😭 and begins to play the drums and sing Beastie Boys "Sabotage", and he pulled it of of course, we laughed and I was just amazed at how he could make something so difficult seem like a walk in the park. Im going to miss every fiber of his soul, I regret we didn't talk as much as we should. Chase was the embodiment of a good man and a loving soul. I miss his hugs and kiss on the cheek. Love you Cuz
