Condolence: Saying prayers for peace and strength in the days ahead for Ed and the entire Mayer family.

Condolence: My heartfelt condolences to Linda's family. Losing a loved one to death is one of the hardest things to deal with in life. May you find strength and comfort in each other but most of all in Jehovah God and his promises to end all sickness and death and restore life by means of a resurrection. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4) Until that day comes it is my hope that you will draw comfort from the words found at Jeremiah 29:11, 12. There, we are assured that when we pray to Jehovah, he will listen.

To you, your sons and other loved ones, we grieve with you over the loss of your "bride". Knowing you both since our college days, we want you to know how very much we liked Linda. She was grounded while most students at that time were finding their way. She was kind, level-headed and devoted to you and we are sure, to all of your boys. Our heart breaks for your loss but we ask God to show Himself strong through your dependency upon Him. No one can comfort like our Savior Jesus. No one can love like He does and no one can bring healing like He does. Trust in Him and lean not on your own understanding. And we hope to see you tomorrow at the funeral home. Condolence: Linda, always Mrs. Mayer to me, was a beautiful person inside and out and a fixture of my early childhood. I spent countless hours at the Mayer home on Sylvan Way.
