Condolences

Condolence From: Susan Buchanan
Condolence: I will miss you Aunt Wanda. You took such good care of me when I was growing up. It was always such a treat to go to your home and I would beg my parents to take me there! I drove my first car when I was six years old with my Aunt Wanda. I went to Florida first the first time when I was three with her, and she took me on my first log ride at Kings Island and let me sit in the front. Uncle Tom and Aunt Wanda were both remarkable people and these are cherished memories I will never forget!

Condolence From: Norman Yonce
Condolence: My sympathies to all the members of Wanda's family. Wanda's brother Bill and I were close friends in Corbin and a constant aggravation to his older sisters. One memory I have always treasured was a visit to Louisville before Wanda married, and she and her to-be husband took us to Fontaine Fountain Park. That was my first visit to a big amusement park, a real treat for a boy from a small town. Wanda and my future sister-in-law Betty were always deliberately creating little "scenes" in public places and giggling as spectators looked on in puzzlement. Wanda was a beautiful person, physically and spiritually. Many good wishes.
