I went to Waggener my junior and senior year with Jay. I didn't know him well, but knew him well enough to know that he was a really good guy. He was one of the few who didn't treat you as an outsider by starting there so late in your high school career. This can make a big difference in how you feel about a person and a school, and says much about their character! My prayers for his family in their tragic loss!
